Default Tires that prevent curb rash

I have a 2015 K900 with factory wheels. Is there a recommended tire that has sidewalls that extend past the rim that would prevent curb rash?

You'd probably have to go with a wider tire. That should make the sidewalls extend out more. Or just don't hit curbs.

Years ago we had curb feelers which hooked to the wheel well, looked like a spring with an 8" end sticking out.
Made a noise when you were about to touch the curb. Don't know as they would do any good today as cars have
a lot more sound proofing today

OK, wider tire. Like what would the size be?
Currently I have the following OEM tires: 245/45/R19 9.6"wide on an 8" rims, and 275/40R19 10.8" wide on a 9-11" rims.
