Default Shock/Strut Replacement

How many miles should the 2015 shocks last? I have 85,000 miles and they feel every bump.

I've never had a car lose shocks before 100,000 miles, but nothing on this car surprises me anymore. I feel for your wallet already lol. Please let me know how much it is to replace.

The dealer said figure a starting point of around $1,000 per axle and the subtract for reused parts.

I changed my rear shocks recently because they started going bad around 60k miles. Cost me $650 parts and labor from my dealer (just the rears only to be clear). Made ride much better.

Mine is 2015 VIP w 52k. First trip ever riding in the rear set. Feels like a bucking bronco back here! Are my shocks this bad or does this car ride this terrible from the back? Every bridge seam feels like I'm getting a back adjustment

My 2016 k900 VIP six cylinder was hunting on the freeway. My wife was driving and I was in the passenger seat she's a good driver and she was constantly making changes with the steering wheel although minor. I could feel the backend hunting.

The shocks/dampers were not doing a good job damping at 57,000 miles. So each time we went over a bump the, it would rock back-and-forth one springy to the other quickly. And as each of the wheels had more weight that wheel would steer the car. So it was apparent that the rear toe in was out of adjustment.

So I bit the bullet and paid the dealer 720. I also had an alignment done for 110. As I suspected the rear was way off.

The shocks made a slight difference. It does take the bumps a little better and there is no rear wheel steer so I'm pleased

I definitely feel that the suspension is drifty with our nearly perfect (hah) tax payer funded highways in CA. I'm going to drop on replacements soon, but for the time being I need to fix my alignment ASAP as that's the most egregious offender as the suspension is getting worn out.
