Default Long time KIA owner, new K900 owner

Hello, we have had several KIA's starting with a '96 Sportage. Recently traded our '14 Cadenza on a '15 K900 with VIP package, Snow White Pearl. My wife is the primary driver. I have a '16 Soul EV.

With the Sportage, we have had several Sorentos, an Optima Hybrid. Seen many changes and how far KIA has come.

Look forward to learning more about the car.

Enjoy the new K900, and welcome to the forum.
Not as many people post on here as I'd like to see,
but not that much goes wrong with the car.
So we don't have that much to gripe about.
You can also see most of us on the (sister almost)
cadenza forum

Hey there welcome to the K900 Forum.

Congratulations on taking possession of your new 15 model.

Kia has definitely made some huge changes over the last 10 years.

I am happy to say I am an owner of a Kia as of today. Never thought I'd hear my self say that.

If there is anything we can help you find to personalize your new vehicle, please let us know.

David

Thank you.

It almost a different level car from the other KIA's we have had. There is almost nothing that I'd want to "Mod".

The only think that is odd is purchased it used. I know when the car came to the dealership in 2013, since the dealership owner used it. The purchase paperwork has year model 2014 but when the insurance company and I search the VIN it comes back as 2015?

All car companies put the model year car out early. If you noticed some of the 2016 cars were out 4 or 5 months ago.
KIA started making the K900 for the USA in late 2013 so they would have some on hand when they started selling them in 2014
Mine was made in March 2014, but it is the 2015 model

I had a KIA Spectra/Sorento and now the K900, they came a long way with their cars and brand. They even beat Honda in reliability.

This is correct! I had my new 2015 K900 last year in August 2014.
