Default k900 range

just bought a 2015 k900 full cpo,23,000 miles looks brand new, very nice. my previous car was a genesis which I also loved. one question, I noticed the "range" only shows about 260 miles after fillup, I read range is supposed to be around 400miles. does it reset after a set amount of miles? haven't been able to find any info on this, btw my average mpg runs 22-23 on the highway. thanks for any input.

If you drive around in town a lot, range showing will reflect the mileage you are getting now as an average.
When you take a trip, reset your trip meter and after you drive for a while, it will show up much better.
Mine showed a little over 400 on my last trip with the K900

Real life range even w/ mostly highway driving is around 360 miles on a full tank; which is on the low side of large V8 sedans. As Gene said most other makes/models at this class can go >400 tank per gallon.

I just completed about a 2,000 mile road trip, mostly highway.

I reset the mileage gauge before I left, and when I got back it was showing 24.4 MPG. That somewhat beats the EPA estimate, so I thought it was pretty good.

Gene is exactly right about the range. When I was filling up on the interstate, the miles-to-empty estimate was a bit over 400. When I'm tooling around town in my normal driving, the best range estimate is only about 320.
