I'm willing to make a bet that the system in the Genesis and the K900 are the same, so you will probably have the same experience. One thing that does irk me bit is during the winter months. the radar system get blocked with the dried up road salt and I have to go get a wet towel. "Snow state problems", probably not an issue in Tx.

This is an annoying function, every time I start the car I made it a habit to turn this off. This is easy fast done
What's annoying about it? Does it interfere with the driving? |
Another question - does it have the Auto-Hold function, i.e. breaks hold at full stop (without needing to keep the foot on the pedal) until you press the gas? |
Couple more feature questions -
1. Turn signal - does it blink 3/5 times (configurable) when you touch and not "fix" the turn signal? 2. Auto Hold - do you need to turn it on every time the car starts? 3. Rain-sensing wipers? 4. Blind-spot signal in the mirrors? |
How do you guys get your hands on the software updates? I can't even find k900 on MnS site.
And my SW VER shows as RJ.USA.P5.001.003.200213 and MAP VER NAM.12.47.44.510.001.1 What does it correspond to at MnS? 14.0? |
Of course you can get the latest map and infotainment center update at https://www.mapnsoft.com/kia/ for the 2019/20 K900. Just updated my 2019 K900 recently to the October 2020 at no charge!
The new update is version 14.5 (NAM.13.47.44.680.002) aka 146UP5 Here is an update to the question "Turn signal - does it blink 3/5 times (configurable) when you touch and not "fix" the turn signal?" I checked and you can select 3/5 or even 7 |
