It was just a nice looking credit card sized card with VIN and phone numbers on it.

Interesting to see the screenshots. That's basically the same screen I see, but I don't have the seat & mirror icons, alas. Having the seat controls would be really nice.

...I also ordered Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 and that's a hydrophobic polymer product that should really help repel water and protect the paint against micro scratches.

I've used NXT for a number of years but they stop selling in stores and can only be ordered online. I found Meguiar's Ultimate liquid wax (more a synthetic polymer than wax) to be just as good; perhaps a hair better in terms of not leaving streaks on dark colored cars. But I've since ditched both... Since I like to put some protectant on the car each time I wash it, I switched to Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba which is more wax than polymer (supposedly a slightly better shine but not as long lasting) and very easy to put on buff off.

For the plastic headlamp cover I use Rejex which is an excellent sealant. Have any of you gents tried Rejex? Love the product but it's a bit more time to put on/off. I do Rejex the front end of the car every time for distant road trips since nothing is better in protecting (and ease of wash off) against bugs.

Do the new K900s have credit card key? That's one feature I really like about the old model. One less fob to lug around...

Thanks for the tip mdude. I'll have to get some Rejex and look into Gold Class Carnauba. We just got the real PA plates yesterday and mounted in carbon fiber holder. Got the K900 washed up and it was warm enough for me to give it a coat of NXT. It looks great and is getting it's first emissions safety inspection today. Woohoo!

Unfortunately there is no key function, would have been nice.

Some new press reviews:

https://www.theautochannel.com/news/...lman-it-s.html

And sales a tipping up compared to last year but numbers are still pretty much low:
https://www.tflcar.com/2019/03/febru...rs-and-losers/

I haven't tried this yet but after getting 1,200 miles on the car I'd like to see if it works. Have either of you tried to see if the 2019 K900 has "Launch Control" mode like the 2018 Stinger? https://youtu.be/yIkjpjXXTgY

Since the K900 shares the same platform as the Stinger I'd think it should be there.

I just did a quick search and can't find any info on this. Can you elaborate?

Kia's website doesn't even have the K900 as a choice on the "Special Offers - Sedans" tab.
