Default What to be wary of on a used k900?

I am looking at purchasing a used 2017 k900 v8 and thought it might be a good idea to ask on here what I should be wary of when buying a k900 used. I know some people have said the headlights break and point down but any other issues to look for?

Dash delamination (leather coming up), wheel & tire issues (chrome failure, uneven wear) & be sure the radio/nav is reasonably up to date and working properly.

My opinion, from all I can learn, is that there was an upward trend on these smaller issues through the 2015-2017 production run, so I'm thinking a '17 should be pretty well debugged. But it's always good to be cautious.

IMHO, Extended Warranty is a must-have. With all the complicated electronics onboard, combined with the fact that only some KIA dealers are authorized to service the K900, repair costs could become pretty big (especially with the VIP package).

Anytime you buy a used car, get the extended warranty. Remember when you buy a used car you are buying somebody's issues sometimes. K900 repairs can be high like others cars as well. If you can afford to get a warranty please do so, better to be safe than sorry.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is not a TSB or a good DIY fix on the dash delam. :-(

That’s really a BAD Look In KIA’s part...! With the few thousand sold and the percentages I’m reading about that certainly demands a Voluntary recall or at bare minimum a good faith warranty extension on a car that is under a certain mileage (say 100k), date(7yrs) and no flood cars....

It appears to be an issue they may have known about sooner than we think..!!!
