Default Tps

On my way to work today I got a warning signal and my TPMS showed my back left tire down to 24 PSI from the norm 35 PSI .I took it into the closet tire shop who tested the rear tire and confirmed that it was low and filled it free
(they advertise free air) . They also said its likely that there is a slow leak and that I should bring it in asap which I will on the weekend. Well it did work as advertised. Has anyone else seen this warning ?

Yes when I hit a pot hole in North Carolina doing 50mph and it tore a hole in the side wall of the tire.
not a big hole but enough to let the tire pressure go down with in a quarter mile.
Glad it worked as it did not hurt the wheel

The next day the TMPS showed 20 PSI Went back to Kal Tire and $23.00 later they pulled out a nail and sealed the hole . That might be the best feature of the car because if I didn't have that for sure I would be replacing the tire . As an aside for those of you live in Canada Kal tires service was beyond excellent
