Default Tires

Just got new tires and the Kia dealer tells me they don't need alignment. (The car had alignment with the old tires about a year ago.)

I think this is weird--never bought tires in my life without having them aligned. What do you guys say? Have any of you been told this?

On this car, I've had it aligned every single set of tires and yet it gets uneven wear on the front tires. I would get the alignment because I'm pretty sure you're suppose to do it.

I think so too, but I'm open to other opinions if anybody has any here.

Well, every time I take mine in for an oil change they "check" the alignment. I still have yet to figure out why KIA went with a staggered set up. Where the benefits that dramatic?

Yes, good question! It certainly makes things more expensive. I can't say the car really feels and drives any different than a comparable car with the same rubber all around.

Yup. That's weird. I've always had a new set of tires aligned.
