Default there'll be a new K900

Looks like it's getting pretty close to official.

If it's coming to the New York show this spring, I wonder if it'll be a 2019? That would apparently mean skipping the 2018 model year entirely.

Awesome! My lease is coming to an end later this year so hopefully it looks good.

I'm excited. I wonder why they skipped this model year, but I guess they've had a good reason for it.

I talk to a rep at the Detroit Autoshow. She said they are skipping this model year and will come back next year.

Thanks for the confirmation, Goon44.

It's not unheard of for a model to skip a year when a big change is on the way, actually. Buick had no Riviera for '94, for instance--the '93 production year was long and '95 production started early. I think there have been others, but can't remember offhand.

Default It might no come to USA

They just announced that the new K900 will be available in April in Korea. I do not know where it will go from there but heard that they will discontinued K900 in USA. This year will be the last year to see K900 at the dealership. Another AMANTI case. The cars did not sell period even they added V6 line.

I have put 20,000 miles on mine and there are small annoying issues. I love the car but do not think will lease another one when current one is due towards the end of this year.

Driving is FUN !!!
I want my first KIA K900 to be fun too....

I had a K900, got a Genesis G90 this year. I like the looks of the K900 front end better than
the genesis. I think you can look to have everything in the K900 that is in the G90 ultimate
and maybe some extras.
KIA has always been about one year behind Hyundai on the new models. This time appears
to be about 2 years behind. Still like the styling in the K900 over the G90

Latest news. https://www.motor1.com/news/236566/k...l-south-korea/

I am not a fan of the pop up infotainment screen. Makes it seem like an afterthought like they have on some smaller cars.

Thanks for the pix, joelischynski. The outside seems like an evolution of the current car, but the interior is more of a departure.

I agree that the screen sticking up above everything else is not a good look. I kind of doubt it's a popup, though--I haven't seen one of those on a new car in several years. I bet it's just mounted that way and stays there.

It doesn't change my desire to own the current car, I have to say.
