Default so few posts

I figured out why there are so few posts here on the K900 forum.
We're not having problems, and there aren't many accessories for it yet
Sure hope this keeps up. Not so few posts, but so few problems.
Also dealership has treated me much better than with the Cadenza.

Gene as I said before why don't they merge Kia luxury forums with separate categories for specifics to each car like the hybrid section in the optima forum **** you and i should simply email each other rather than posting on here . As an aside the Cadenza site also suffers from a lack of posts so a merger might make sense

Default many already post the K900 on the Cadenza forum

Guess that makes sense.
Not much going wrong with my K900, But decided to install the invisible bra on the car myself. Covers hood, bumper, front of front fenders, and mirrors.
$78.00 for the precut 3M 8mil material.
Had it on my 2012 optima sure kept the road chips down, worked great. That cost me $600.00 to get installed, so will try this one myself. Will let you know how it turns out.

Default K900 Pro's & Cons

Currently leasing K900 Premium Edition Black
Here are my personal Pro's & Cons

Pro's: Cons:
Comfort Only Heated Seat In Rear
Front & Back Leg Room No Lexicon Audio System
Infotainment System Manual Window Shades
Isolation Noise Gas Mileage
Styling Plastic Parts (Interior Control Knob)
Cool & Heated Front Seats Not Enough Bang For The Money

Kia should have taking a few more styling and feature ques from Hyundai see Equus. With the K9 or K900 being launch by Kia in 2012, there is a lot that has been missed before exporting to the U.S market.
Sound off! What's your thoughts?

I have the luxury addition but without the VIP package white with white interior. That works better here in Arizona. Only problem KIA doesn't put the VIP package in that color combination, white and white.
I don't care about missing things in the rear seat, as we don't use it much, but would have liked a few of the things in front from the VIP package
Would have been nice to have.
Surround View Monitor
Full Meter Display, 12.3" Supervision Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD
Head Up Display (HUD)
Extendable Driver's Seat Cushion
Front Seat Power-Adjustable Headrests
Quilted Seats on white would really looked good, they don't offer it.
I do have
the Lexicon Audio System
the gas mileage isn't that good, but when you buy a car like this with a V8, shouldn't expect that to be great.
Don't care for the color they put on the walnut wood in the white interior. Not a fan of the closed pore wood finish. open pore looks much better
Most of the things you have as a con can be had with the luxury addition and the VIP package. Of course that costs a lot more.
I got mine as a certified pre-owned. still get 10year 100,000mile warranty, 1 year 12,000mile premium package, roadside and travel package, 3year 37,000 mile every 3750 mile service package. $20,000 off the original price. It was a KIA exec's car
Really nice power for this size car, great fit and finish.
We love it. My wife's driver I still have a Cadenza. She lets me use it sometimes

I have had my premium -Canadian V6 model for 5 weeks here is my view:

1-the V6 power is perfectly adequate I am averaging 16 MPG (US not IMP) which is almost 100% stop and go .I would like the mileage I received on my KOH but I new going in the MPG would suck
-Likes
:2-the lane detecting system ,
3-blind spot warning system ,
4- front camera
5-rear electric sun shade
6- the head up display( although with sunglasses the anti glare and UV protection blocks the projection)
7- the automatic cruise control as it allows me to set the distance from close to far and two other between when i get to close
8-passenger power seat ( happy wife happy life)
9-leg room both front and back
10-sound system I don't know what I have but it is **** good
11- eco mode and sports mode settings .thankfully it hasn't snowed yet so cannot opine on snow mode
7-seat and steering wheel adjustments
8-quality of leather and wood trim
9-quietness it is almost too quiet
10-Lane departure as well as blind spot warning both works very well
11-GPS-large screen and unlike Optima in Canada Traffic warnings work
12 Lots of storage and large I mean very large trunk space
13-real spare tire not that silly inflatable tire kit
14-heat warming works very fast ( dont use cooling not a fan of that in any car)
15-Cup holders really hold cusp steady'
16-Auto Hold and electric emergency brake
17-front camera
Dislikes:
1-presets for the sound system it really sucks and hard to set
2-non touch activated screen .I am getting used to the joy stick all be it it is a pain in the ass.
3-Voice activation system is very poor
4-Bluetooth does automatically down load text messages or read them out ( at least I have never figured out how it works)
5-Heavy doors ( i guess a plus also if I'm hit )

Overall

I like the car it was the most expensive car I have ever owned but not nearly as good as a deal as Gene got I felt that Kia bent over backwards to get me behind the wheel

Hello,
Purchased the Lux edition with premium package June 12. Enjoy the ride and like the safety features. Have all mentioned above.

Biggest disappointment has been lack of proper detailing before delivery. Took 3 more visits to the dealership to get things correct. The dealer picked up the car at my house and left a loaner. Loaner was a major step down.

Car is in for map update as one was announced recently. Unfortunately when updating, something happened that fried the audio system. Waiting on new audio system from Korea.
