Default Remote Start question

So now that winter is here I have finally started or at least attempted to use the UVO based remote start. Which I can now say is "some timey" to say the least. Sometimes it works most of the time it doesn't. The exact parameters have to be met and there seems to be know way of knowing if you commander was actually executed or not. My issue is when you remote start the vehicle, it auto turns on the hazard flashers until you actually get in the car. That means I'm the guy lighting up the whole neighborhood or parking garage if I want to warm up my car. Any one figure out how to turn that lovely feature off?

The flashing of the hazzards (albeit a slower interval than typical use) for remote start has been a Kia and Hyundai thing for years (since 2013). Just see the fourms on this

I don't know of anyway to disable this.
