Default Rear license plate bulb

One of my rear license plate bulbs is not receiving any voltage. Anyone know the part of that assembly that holds those bulbs. Its for an KIA k9. OR has anyone taken that assembly apart? Not sure if thats a big deal to take it apart to get a look at it or not.

I'm sorry I have no idea about the assembly; I hadn't thought to even look under there.

But I'm interested to know if it's really a bulb. I've read several places that the only bulbs on these cars are in the backup lights--everything else is supposed to be LED. Let us know what you find when you get in there.

(And welcome to the board, BTW.)

It was an led lamp on mine.
Go to https://www.kiapartsnow.com/parts-li...rior-lamp.html
for the license plate lamp drawing. Cover snaps out using a plastic blade about 1/2" wide.
don't use screwdriver it can scratch and break
If moisture got in there contacts may be corroded or rusted off.

Think about insuring your car. I know one good company, they always help me when I need help. Check it here - www.general.com
