Default Quoris' Haptic Steering Wheel Dial

I was taking a look at the technology section on Kia's Quoris website and I came upon the Haptic Steering Wheel Dial. I have never driven a car with one of these. Anyone have any experience with it. How does it work?

Here's a pic i found online

I think Kia may have the patent on this design. I can't think of other car companies that has this system.

Doesn't haptic just mean feedback? It probably just clicks while you rotate it? Is that really a feature?

Yah it's just controls for the LCD unit on steering wheel so you don't have to look down to work the settings. It's more of a safety feature.

The plastic looks kind of cheap from the image. Has anyone been able to sit in a quoris yet and try it out?

Quori's are becoming hard to come by at the moment and North America doesn't seem to be the primary target for sales are there has been a couple sightings, but nothing like this....

^ that will give you a full tour of the Quoris, and maybe get an idea of the quality of materials, equipment, etc.

From what I could understand haptic is a feedback of touch or vibration, so im guessing that when you turn the dial it will just denote that feedback of which feature from the screen is selected. So its not a big thing as they make it sound to be.
