Default No welcome, turn signal or seat belt chime

Hi all, I've had my 2015 K900 about 3 months now and it only has 30k miles in it.

About a week ago I noticed that the turn signal click sound stopped! The signal itself works fine but no clicks. A few days ago I noticed that the engine start and stop melody was also AWOL. And today I realized that the seat belt wasn't chiming in either!

I've searched high and low for some hidden option that I may have accidentally clicked but then I realized that the seat belt buzzer isn't something that is easily disabled.

I am about to set up an appointment with the dealer but was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Oh yeah, my driver's side headlamp is always looking down and I hear that can cost 1000s to fix so I'll probably leave that as.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't remember those settings (if I ever clicked them), but I will say it's too easy to accidentally reset something in the dashboard menus, IMHO. I've done it several times.

I'd say this is a time to plow through the manual (massive as it is). Let us know if you get it figured out.

Took it to the dealer 3 days ago and they are still stumped. Good thing I got the extended warranty...

Will the extended warranty pay for the head lamp for you?

Ok, up to day 6 at the dealer and they 'may' have found the issue with the chimes. At least they update me every day with their attempts.

There seems to be some bickering between the dealer and the extended warranty company, the insurance guys can't believe a headlamp cost $12k!

I would have guessed one of two things for the missing chimes issue - either there is a supporting fuse that is burned out, or someone simply needs to try a reboot of the infotainment system (after a battery reset).

The car has been in the shop for going on 4 weeks and they think they may have finally found the cause and ordered the part.

We'll see if they get it right this time. If they ever identify the cause and give me back my car, I'll post the cause here so the next person won't have to go through this.

Finally got it back today! Turns out it was some speaker behind the dash that died. The headlights are working also. Thank goodness for the extended warranty, I did t pay a dime and they threw in a free battery and oil change for the hassle.

Wow! Congrats! You rarely hear anything like that from someone coming out of a dealer. Your horoscope really must have been right that day or something.
