Pity they dont allow the current K900 owners to get the touchscreen option I suspect most if not all K900 owners miss that

Hey for only $11097.39 you can buy the parts from kia to update the system to a touch screen.
Not sure what the labor would be.
takes new screen, new head unit, and a new head unit controller
and people think the head lamps are expensive

I was reading about the 2016 a couple weeks back. It's great for the new K900 owners but doesn't have anything for us old owners to trade in for.

They kept the cheap tacky looking fake side vents.

Wish they did more to upgrade it over the current generation model. Lane departure assist getting added?

I could be mistaking, however I do not believe any model of 2015 K900 came with "lane departure assist". I think you may be getting that confused with the "Lane Departure Warning" system. Which my model has as well. This simply beeps at you as the vehicle detects you crossing into the next lane. Here you can see how it works:

What I am referring to is actually called "lane keeping assist" and can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbjdmw8D9-Y

It's simple actually, the system on the Genesis will actually keep the car in the lanes by adjusting the steering wheel to keep it in the right direction. This is something I am hoping will be released on the new K900 models. Pretty sure it would have to be included now!
