Default "Level Up Your Kia" email?

Just got an e-mail from <[email protected]> announcing free twice a year updates for maps and "multimedia," whatever that means. It has a link for starting the process.

Looks legit, but nowadays you never know. I'm not clicking any links until I see whether everybody is getting this.

BTW, is anybody else getting come-ons from the dealer offering top dollar for your car? Mine is offering to refund my most recent service department expense, which is a marketing approach I never saw before.

I got the "refund your last service" offers. My last service was $130, so wasn't at all tempted, as they're offering $500 just for visiting the website.
But, yes, I've gotten several of those type. Haven't seen the maps & updates offers.

Yeah, $130 isn't a big temptation! At least mine was for tires and was about $1000. But I'm still not tempted.

I'm glad my Cadenza is increasing in value now instead of decreasing, but everything else is going up too, so it's a wash.

Yes, Kia-Driver, cars are getting like real estate. You can sell a house for a good price nowadays, but then what? You'd just be a fairly affluent homeless person! It's a crazy time.
Kia-Driver likes this.

Well, since cars are now more expensive than my first house, I could always live in my car after I sell my house.
I paid $33K for my first house.
Edit: and I can make $65K over last year's value on my house right now.
