Default K5 optima store's canbus control module

Has anyone installed one yet?

I sent an email to David just now to see if I may get one in order to make a how-to install video.
I've gotten sponsorships on previous vehicles and I know my way around un-installing and re-installing vehicle panels along with electrical wiring.

Hoping to see if I can work something out with the optima store to make a how-to install video along with instruction tutorial showing what all the module is able to do.

Some features I'm hoping for:
-Proximity lock / unlock (no more button pushing for us)
-Auto close sunroof shade when vehicle turned off or locked
-Vehicle stays on for 30 seconds after hitting turn off button. This way the music will still play while getting out of the car (similar to Chevy's keeping the radio on until you open the door)
-surround view camera turns on under 15mph automatically
-option to have rearview camera on as you see fit. I made a module for this on the Lexus IS250. That video can be seen here

Here's a recent video I did on the K900 rearview mirror.

It was great chatting with you on the phone today J.

Looking forward to seeing the completed install on this, and am happy to have a team player on board here on the K900 Forums!

I'll be very interested in this if the install doesn't turn out to look too difficult.

The level of difficulty comes down to the level of experience of the installer, attempting to complete the installation. Some have more experience with wiring and working on cars than others, and therefore what may be easy for some, maybe difficult for others. This is a very intricate installation, and we definitely recommend professional installation, if you are not experienced with doing this type of wiring on your own.
