Another thing to consider regarding warranty is that you will always get a better deal on an extended warranty plan if there is still some manufacturer warranty remaining when you buy a 2015. I got a full 5 year 60k extension with full coverage for only $2500. Fully transferable or refundable as well. Great piece of mind for the price.

I went through this in detail while I was shopping. I posted up everything I learned here--hope it might help:

My 2 cents

AC compressor went out in my 2015. Took it in on Monday. Got a call on Wednesday telling me the expected delivery date for my replacement is September 13th! The bloody thing is coming straight from Korea!!

I guess if you ever need a major part replaced, you might as well fill the rental's tank up cos you'll be in it for a while.

The new model will have an optimal combination of thoughtful design, power and high technologies.
* The model is built on the same base as the Genesis G90, in connection with this, turbocharged petrol engines are expected under the hood of the novelty, as well as the availability of the all-wheel drive system.
The equipment will include adaptive cruise control with a semi-autonomous control system LFA (Lane Following Assist)

Actually it wasn't bad at all. i got a call a week later to say the part was in and the job was done. I was delighted but to have a compressor fail with only 18k on the clock is concerning to me. I do live in Arizona so the AC does put a shift in every day but still....

When I bought my car (2015 w/VIP @22k miles) my cost for a 5yr 100k mile warranty was $1745. This was the fidelity backed CPO Platinum wrap.

I'm thinking about replacing my 2004 LS430 later this year with a 2015 K900. I understand with luxury cars the part costs can be higher than standard cars, but the headlight motor issue has be a bit concerned. Has anyone here had a Headlight issue that they were able to fix cheaper than the $5k cost I've read about Kia dealers charging?

I've seen K900 headlight assemblies on ebay pretty cheap (compared to the $3.5k new price, anyway), so I don't worry too much if I would have to replace one out of warranty. That said, I've had my 2015 for almost 2 years and 11k miles now, and have had no problems at all.
