Crazy to hear how different people's opinions may be about the same vehicle. To me, my 2019 K900's sound system is the best I've ever heard in a vehicle. Granted I've never gotten the chance to ride in an S-Class or anything, but I've been in BMW's, Lexus's, etc and they didn't come close. It's crazy, the previous stock sound system I was impressed by was a fully loaded Kia Optima a few years back before I even cared about car audio. This would be like that but on steroids.
My previous vehicle was a Mazda with the upgraded BOSE sound system and it sounded alright but I ended up adding a 12 inch sub to help out with the low end and it helped immensely.
Before purchasing the K900 I test drove a 2019 GT2 Stinger and wasn't that impressed with the sound system I was expecting based off of reviews.
There was no comparison with the K900's HK system. The clarity, nothing is overpowering, it's so balanced and everything thumps. I thought about adding a sub to it as I did with my previous car but decided against it. It would probably muddy everything up and throw off the balance. I just turn the bass up in the audio settings and it's plenty powerful.
This makes me wonder if some people get defective sound systems compared to others, because I have no idea how someone would think a Stinger's or Telluride's audio would sound better than the K900's. Just my two cents.
