Default A/C Issues?

Hi Everyone, I would like to get your opinion about how your Air Conditioning is doing on very hot days.

Today I took a test drive in a 2015 K900 ultimate with about 21K on the clock. During the 20 minute test drive the A/C never got cold. The best I could describe the temperature was slightly cool air coming out of the vents. The temperature was about 95 degrees today. Is this normal?

Thanks

Last week it was 113 here in Arizona and my wife turned her vents down
because it blew air to cold to hard.
No that is not normal, I'd say the K900 has one of the best A/C s on the
market.
Did you have the settings right?
On auto or manual?
What did you have the temperature set at?

I think I had the settings right. All three zones were set to low for temperature and the fan was set to high. I tried both manual and auto modes and the AC light was illuminated. I also tried inside air (recirculate) and outside air without much difference at all.

I should of added this to the original post. The deal said it might just need a charge. That is a big concern for since the care is a little over a year old and has about 21K miles on it.

You buying from kia dealership or private person?
Maybe look for a certified preowned k900.
Make sure dealership gives you a warranty for
and extended warranty on A/C in writing.
How much are they asking for it?

The dealer was asking about $40K for the car. But I have decided to keep looking. I just don't want to start out with an issue hanging over my head.

It should be a certified preowned for just under that.
If it's a certified preowned try offering $37,500.
If not CPO walk away

The car was CPO from a Kia dealer, but not K900 authorized dealer. It was very nice car other than the ac issue. Thanks!

I would question why a car with so few miles would already need a charge to the A/C system. I might be totally wrong but that does not sound right.

Default any authorizied dealer

You can take the car to any authorized kia dealer. Ask if you can take car to another dealer to be checked out.
If that's a no walk away
