I decided to do the map update.
Ordered it on the 7th Monday.
also paid for the 2day shipping
It is now 11th Friday and the order
hasn't even got to fed ex yet
It's still at mnsofts facility.
doesn't even show on fed ex
a delivery date.
Sent a message to mnsoft sales
asking them to refund my money
and keep the update since they
haven't sent it yet
submitting an order is a contract
so is selling me a product with a
2day delivery then not fulfilling
it. sounds like breach of contract
to me

It absolutely is on the shipping portion I would be hard pressed to suggest its a breach of contract something tells me when you agreed to their terms and conditions they covered their ass

I got on here to see if anyone did the update and how's it is so far. Is there a way you can just download it and put it on a USB stick?

It doesn't work that way it will be specific to a vehicle.

Got a phone call, they said 1 to 2 days to process, in their ad, and 2 days for delivery. mnsoft sent me a tracking number and said it would arrive no later than Dec.10. This was on dec. 7
Told me on the phone it was their fault, they screwed up the order. It hadn't even been put together yet, and package was never given to fed ex .will refund my 2 day shipping and get a discount.
They told me this had happened to a number of orders, and they are working on the problem.

Gene that is fgood to know and especially good for you .When u get it and download same report back on any noticeable differentness .

My wife and I are getting ready to do a trip back east in January.
Hope this update fixes a couple of road problems we had in the spring. Sent us in to a corn field in North Carolina, because of recent construction I think.
Will look for any differences in software, Think the only real difference is in adding HOV lanes to the guidance

It might take you an extra day or even 2 with ground shipping.
But if it is going to take a week to 10 days for paying extra, a
day more doesn't matter for over $13.00

got the map update. Don't see much difference other than HOV lanes.
Tried to update with a battery charger on the car( so battery wouldn't run down)
Car on but not running ( wanted to save gas) Didn't work. Had to have the car
running for my update to work.
Guess if you had version 8 it would update some things, But mine already had ver.9
