Well that makes sense. If the car has been sitting in inventory for over 1 year, they likely got concessions from Kia to cut its price. Ind you it maybe brand new, no original owners, however it's likely it has dealer demo milage on it. The best way to see is by running a carfax on that VIN number to see the service record on the vehicle. I think you'd be suprised to find out its really not as new as you think

I'm with Bob, that car has probably been sitting in inventory for a year now. I'm also sure if they do sell it, they loath receiving a 2020 from KIA. My local dealer here has been sitting on his showroom floor for coming up on a year now, poor guy. Meanwhile, he can't keep a Telluride for more than 48hrs, I guess it balances out.

I Am In The Market For 1, The Dealer I Contacted Asked Me My Number For Purchase, What Is A Realistic Number I Should Ask For On A 2019 64,000 Car?

Thanks

My 2 cents says you would be well within you rights to ask for $46K (that gives him wiggle room to come back at $48K). Based on him telling you to give him a number vs the other way around, he is probably desperate to get rid of it and has had no lookers at it. For once, the buyer is holding the cards on a car purchases

They aren’t that desperate. They’ll give you a price, but charge 3.5% to finance it for 72 months. You can get a 0% rate but you lose rebates.

I just bought a VIP version for $47k. I did not think you could get a Carfax on a car that has not yet been titled?

UPDATE: The dealer screwed up the incentives on the deal and their price was actually $50,300. I did not buy it.
