Default 2015 Kia v8 k900 options?

I'm looking at a 2015 Kia k900 pearl white that doesn't appear to have the VIP package? Didn't all usdm k900 v8s include the VIP?

no there was a base model and one with the VIP; VIP was an extra 6 grand in the MSRP. Usually adds a couple extra thousand on a used one. VIP is the only way to go!

There is one that is for sale by my house at a Kia dealership with 19k miles, pearl white non VIP trim, and it's certified pre-owned. They want 24k for it. I don't think I'd really miss the VIP options as I would be driving.

Is the base v8 model guage cluster the same size as the VIP? It shows it gets a bigger screen in the package?

Hi Mike, the difference in the instrument cluster in the 2015 K900 V8 Premium (the base trim) and the V8 Luxury is that the Premium came with an analog instrument cluster, while the Luxury came with a 12.3 inch full LCD cluster. The gauges are digitally projected on a screen, instead of traditional physical gauges. Otherwise, the gauge cluster is more or less the same size between the 2 trims.

Here is a link listing all the standard and optional equipment for each trim level. https://www.kiamedia.com/us/en/model.../2015/features

Can't do any better than Zathras' response.

My personal view is that the VIP package changes the car from a premium to a true luxury automobile boasting features unique to that class (e.g. 360 degree camera, heads up display, speed sensitive cruise, soft close doors, heated/ventilated front AND back seats, reclining rear seats, etc).

MY15 w/ 19k on odo CPO at $24k is a good deal. Snap it up, pronto.

Good info to know! I should mention I previously was in the market for 04-06 Lexus 430s a few months ago. I wanted the base trim due to issues that arise as the car ages. In the LS it was nav unit failure (HVAC). I couldn't imagine having the digital gauge cluster go out on the kia! I'm Glad the k900 doesn't use airbag suspension. Lexus run $800-1000 per corner!

Was the issue with the push button start and headlight motor going out resolved with a recall?
