Default Buying used late '17/early '18

I'm interested in a purchase, and I think used is the way to go--there are some really good deals out there.

So I thought I'd start a thread to discuss where the used market is right now.

For starters, this one interests me--all the options, CPO, 32,000 miles, clean Carfax, and about $27,000:

What say the experts?

real nice; and pics are all good. ask to see pics of each wheel as some in 2015 have strange loss of chrome similar to peeling. leaves black showing; one wheel looks good tho. car fax report is good and they give the 100k warranty; price is more than fair if it is as good a it looks. the white on white is really handsome. check it out!

My K900 had 53,000 miles on it and KIA replaced a wheel.
which had peeling. Only one of the wheels did this, others
were fine.

Thanks for the wheel info, guys. It tends to explain some cars I've seen with apparent road-rash, like this one:

2015 Used Kia K900 4dr Sedan Luxury at MotorCars of Nashville - Mt Juliet Serving Mt.Juliet, TN, IID 16992636

I was thinking, how in the world did that owner scrub three wheels, with surround-view camera available??

So I guess it might not have been operator error after all.

BTW, these folks have the first Tesla SUV I've seen on the used market:

BTW, I hope other folks will post good deals (or maybe bad ones) here too, so we can compare.

OK, I'm hogging the thread, but I'm mousing a lot on these things lately.

What do we think of this--2016, 11,000 miles, all the equipment, at $32,000 only somewhat more than some 2015's, BUT...a "moderate" rearender on the Carfax.

Personally, I'd wait. There are not a huge number of used K900s out there, but there are enough that you should be able to find one with an accident free history for a similar price if you just keep looking.

You are probably right, Zathras. I'm not at all in a hurry, since I just have in mind supplementing my current ride, not replacing it.

I am thinking now, after all I've learned here, that I do want to get a '16, but still I'm going to be watching to see if anything exceptional turns up toward the end of the year.

When dealers want to thin their stock before the next tax year begins is often a good time to buy, and a cheap enough '15 might get me. We shall see.

Just a status update--the 2015 Ohio car I posted above is still there and constantly getting cheaper. If I hadn't about set my heart on a 2016, I might have had it by now. I do think it's a good deal.

The 2016 is still there too, although the price hasn't moved. If it weren't for the Carfax data, I might have had it too.

I've checked out plenty more, but these are still my preferred two.
