Default 2015 Oil Filter

Where is the oil filter located on a 2015 K900?

Wondering if you ever found out. I'm looking for it now that I have one.

on passenger side front of engine on bottom.
It is not a screw on oil filter, But a canister type
filter where you remove the cover and place the bare filter inside.
Always use a new gasket.
There is a screw you can remove to drain oil from filter canister
before you unscrew the canister.

Yes! Interesting to know. I'll have to crawl under there to look.

You are a fountain of information as always, Gene.

Sorry I can't go look anymore as I had K900 for my 3 years and leased a new Genesis G90.
You will have to remove the bottom cover to see it. Pain in the behind.
Was easier on my 3.8 liter KIA van . the filter was on top of engine rear , driver side
under snap off engine cover

Pisses me off they make everything near impossible to work on. Have to take off the cover. Sucks.

If you look down the front of the engine, on passengers side, from top of engine. You can see the canister, it is mounted on the oil cooler, almost next to the crankshaft.
K9Intender and ah-chanh like this.
