Default K900 Coupe

Speculation renders a K900 coupe. The S-class recently got its own coupe, and the K900s platform mate Genesis already has sedan and coupe derivatives. Do you think the market could be there?

I'd say that Kia needs to see how well the K900 does before it commits to a coupe version. It doesn't look bad in the rendering, but it seems like it is more suited towards a sedan type vehicle.

it's probably best if kia creates a whole new type of coupe rather than doing this.
the Kia GT is more like it.

Yea I could see Kia doing a higher end coupe, but it should be its own thing, not just a coupe version of the K900. It could use a bit of the styling from the K900 though. It is stiff competition in the luxury coupe segment though, so they would really have to pull out all the stops.

They could craft themselves a competitor to E-class coupe and 6 series. Both of those are relatively low volume, but if KIA wants us to take them serious as a luxury brand they need to come out with 4500 model derivatives just like BMW and Mercedes.

No short cuts KIA

What do you mean by 4500 model derivatives? What are 4500 models?

So Kia is actually coming out with a new coupe, and ahead of the Detroit Auto Show, they have put out this teaser for us.

Kia says it's "aimed at delivering head-turning looks whilst providing superb driving enjoyment whether on the road or at the track."
