Default How to Remove "A" Pillar Trim?

Hello all!

First post here but am a Moderator over at Genesis Owners so I have been around forums a lonnnnng time.

It is a quick and easy question today, I have a 2015 K900 Luxury with VIP package, how do I remove the interior A Pillar trim to run some wires from the headliner to the firewall? Do I just pull?

My old genesis had a single hidden screw, so I don't want to be pulling on this and not have it come off.

Thanks in advance.

You might be the first person to do some type of modifications on a K900. That A pillar, you have to remove that SRS airbag tab and unscrew the screw behind it. You should be able to then pry at the top of it with a plastic pry tool(I used a butter knife on my Honda-had to be careful not to scratch). As for the firewall, that's a good question. I would check just above the brake pedal. What are you running by the way?

Thanks for the replies. I am just going to try to pull it off since there is no SRS airbag button like on my genesis.

I am pulling it off to run my radar detector from my rear view mirror to the fuse box under the dash.

Wouldn't be easier to simply obey the speeding laws plus 10% or so .I often find that people who tend to speed, especially in city driving ,often don't get to their location significantly faster .I often see people who zip by me at a stop light a few blocks ahead . Just as an aside speeding does cause some accidents my two cents worth

Ok cool, that's not a bad idea. Hey why not buy a "Fuse Tap" and no need to worry about the firewall. Let me know how it goes, I might do the same to have that nice clean look.

I am using a fuse tap. But I need to get the wire from the top to the bottom near the firewall. It was the easiest way to describe it
