Default First Trip to Dealer. Transmission, Tires, Voice Control

So, friday will be my first trip to the dealer. The tires are flat spotted from sitting on the lot for a year and they make the ca bounce. The transmission jerks/bucks with downshifts, and the voice recognition has stopped recognizing contact names.

Has anyone had any of these issues besides the tires? We all know the tires are crap lol.

I will also report back what the dealer says on friday.

Thanks all!

1) Tires were fine yes they are crap and I have put on snow tires I will buy new summer performance tires in the spring but I did not notice any bounce
2) Transmission works really well no issues
3) Voice recognition generally sucks so I rarely use it .It does not recognize anything on the first attempt second attempt I then just give up

Good Luck Friday post your results after taking car into service

Will do. My voice recognition worked really well for about a week. My voice recognition on my Hyundai Genesis worked really well

Very strange, I think my tires are great and have no issues with them whatsoever.

Voice recognition works fantastic and recognizes everything I say.

I have not experienced any issues with my transmission whatsoever.

I picked up my K900 in late July 2014 if that matters at all.

Besides the tires the only thing big problem I had with my K900 is that it lost audio no sound. Until they have like Siri in cars(Apple play) I don't use the audio controls, I find that you end up yelling at it in most vehicles(mind you I have an accent).

They will replace your tires.. Let them balance them then complain about them once more.. We have putting michelins or Bridgestone serenity tires on the K900
Also there is an audio update that can be performed..and most likely there will be an open service action to reprogram the rear O2 sensor let us know how the visit goes

Cool, thank you guys for the replies. The audio system does have some bugs here and there. About every 4th or 5th start-up, the audit reset itself to channel 000...not sure why lol. Looks like I may have got a Friday car haha

Any tire with a nylon side wall will flat spot when setting. Should be fine after driving for a mile or so.
Tires with polyester side wall don't flat spot so bad.
Some V6 K900's cae with hankook optimo H426 tires they suck but appear to not wobble.
V8's came with hankook ventue S1noble2 tires, don't seem to flat spot much but ones made in
one batch cause a wobble after a few thousand miles or so.
My continental tires flat spot a little in cool weather good after half a mile, they have nylon side walls
Handling is a lot better than the Hanook tires. I see 2016 K900 will offer the continentals as an upgrade.
My transmission jerked a little at one point, KIA reset the transmission to factory specs no more
jerks.
No problems with my audio at all my Voice recognition works with some things, like go home.
Some other inputs will take me to something else, and some work ok.

Thanks for your input. I actually have the Hankook H426's on my V8....I think. I remember looking and seeing that they are the crap tire. The flat spotting has not gone away in almost 1000 miles . We will see what they say. I want the continentials lol

I have the 426's on mine as of now. Gonna have them changed after the winter.. Kia will replace them after they try and balance them. I am a service advisor for KIA and I have personally replaced the tires on about 15 K900's I can only think of 1 or 2 that didn't need tires at PDI or at their first service. Only downside to the continentals and it's really petty is the sidewalls of the DWS tire isn't verrogated which means if you apply armor all or any other type of tire shine it will sling off very easily and quickly.. Other than that they are a great tire.. My car will get the Bridgestone serenity tired.. Virtually same tread design as the DWS continental.
