Default Anyone with the credit card key, do you use it?

I noticed on my test drive, that the credit card key did not work but the other two "normal keys" did work.

Before I purchase this K900 I was wondering if anyone had a credit card key that they use and has it ever stopped working? I know it's not the battery as we tried different batteries at the dealership. It must be the programming.

Has anyone had to have the credit card key reprogrammed? What was the cost with that? (maybe it was covered under warranty?)

I've used the credit card key some, but was afraid of setting on it.
Can't carry it in my shirt pocket as I have a pacemaker, might have
a problem with that. Can't find many shirts with two pockets anymore.
It does work good. It's nice for my wife to carry in her purse.

About a week ago, I bought a 2015 K900 with 1600 miles on it. The credit card key didn't work, but I bought a new battery for it today and lo and behold it works just fine! In the process of trying to get to the battery compartment I also discovered it has a very skinny physical key so if the battery dies while the car is locked, you can still get the car open. All in all a very cool key. If a new battery didn't fix yours, I would expect getting it working would be covered under the warranty. The dealership should be able to tell you how much if it isn't.

I agree. It's a great feature! I will call my dealership tomorrow.

I only use the credit card key. I keep in my wallet and it works fine. I also had to replace the battery when I took delivery of the car and it works perfectly.

Enjoy.
