Default 5000 mile trip gas mileage

Just finished a 5000 mile trip, 450 miles of it in the city.
Averaged 25.4 miles per gallon, and that is with three adults, an a granddaughter
in the car.
Last trip it was just me and I got almost 27 on the highway, so load makes a big difference.

Only bad thing on the trip was a broken windshield.
Geico says I have full glass coverage, So they are having it replaced with OEM glass.

Ouch; good luck with install and hurray for insurance. As much as I love my black with white interior, I really do like your white on white. My Cadenza had white interior also, and, I don't know about your experience, but, the white has shown far less dirt, dust, etc., than my other car with black leather. Maybe it's the Nappa leather, but, I do like their leather more than other makers including Lexus. I'm really enjoying the K900 after 4 months now; what a deal for the $.

My white interior still looks just like new and that is after 42000 miles.
Also have used a child seat for grand children. Put a cover on rear seat first.
Insurance is with GEICO and was so easy, they made it almost nice to
file the claim with them. No fuss no muss just let us take care of everything.
And they did, scheduled the replacement with OEM glass at my home.

Where did you all go? The route makes a big difference on the mileage as well because perhaps you were running up and down terrain? But I agree that load does make a huge difference. Hope you all had fun on the holiday in any case and glad to hear the report!

Went from Glendale, AZ to North Carolina spent some time there looking at different things,
Time visiting Grand children and Great Grand Children. From Glendale to 7000 feet high Flagstaff
is a good clime then we went thru the Great Smokey Mountains.

Bud you got to post some pictures...

Were you running on premium or regular?

I have white on white also, love the look. We own a great car -- one that is so rare I hardly see another one on the road. It's not a lie to say I've seen more Rolls than K900.

I ran on premium this trip, got better mileage when I traveled alone.
Done this trip 5 times in a year.
I see 3 others here in the Phoenix area, but mine is the only white one.
